New Hints for Bungie's Next Game Next
Former Halo developer Bungie has been tight-lipped about its next
project. Information continues to be sparse, but every now and again the
studio likes to tease its fans about its upcoming game published by Activision.
As part of its 20th Anniversary, Bungie released a new video today dubbed "O Brave New World." In it, members of the studio take trip down memory lane by revisiting all of the titles Bungie has released to date.
Towards the end, however, the team offers up a few choice words about the new project and confirms its codename: Tiger.
"We feel responsible for not just telling an isolated story but for
building a universe that at some point is going to become more "the
fans" than ours," said Bungie writer Joseph Staten. "It's going to take a
life of its own."
Additionally, the video shows off a few glimpses of what is believed to
be concept art for the game, featuring a vast desert-like setting, and a
possible logo. A report from February said the new project is a first-person MMO set in space. The name "Destiny" has been thrown about as the possible title, but these details are still unconfirmed.
