Black ops 2 expectations
Although not the confirmed name of the upcoming Call of Duty title, it is far speculated that Black Ops 2 will be the name. So without further ado, I bring you the top 5 things I want to see in Black Ops 2.
5. Non Story Based DLC Maps
The last Black Ops installment brought multiplayer maps based on the
campaign to the table. This was great, but they also did the same for
the DLC maps, which I didn’t enjoy. I would like to see, for Black Ops
2, the DLC maps be based on random map themes. Leave the campaign based
maps to the default maps.
4. More Customization Options
I thoroughly enjoyed the player customization in Black Ops 2, although
wasn’t the best I have seen, it was an opening to something bigger,
which from the leaked news we have seen, if they follow though it should
be a great turn out. Another thing I would like to see is the return of
emblem customization. I know this was very controversial in the first
Black Ops because of inappropriate designs of some users. Although this
shouldn’t have mattered because it is an adult rated game, the
overwhelming fact is, a lot of the user base is from ages beneath 18.
Because of this many people starting becoming negative towards the
emblem editor, but if you got pass some of the inappropriate emblems you
could you the really awesome ones that showed how much creativity users
have. So an easy way to prevent looking at these “immature” emblems is
for Treyarch to add an ignore emblem option over the players name. This
would block the emblem from your view so you wouldn’t have to look at
it.
3. Community Playlists
This was a great add on for Modern Warfare 3 and also everyone enjoyed
it. This gave the user’s the ability to play game types that aren’t
normally a Call of Duty standard and mixed things up a bit. The only
thing I would say about this is that they should add game types monthly
to keep the game exciting.
2. Sandbox Mapping
If you have ever played Farcry then you would have noticed the map
maker. This started off as a blank desert. You could from there change
the map theme, add in your own objects, buildings, etc. This was a great
thing to put into a realistic FPS and would really up the competition
for other FPS designers out there. Why do you think Halo 3 is still
played often? I’m going to say one of the reasons is because of their
map designer, which doesn’t happen to be a sandbox designer, but they
have relations.
1. Zombies!
You had to have known this was coming. Zombies along could be a game
that would get many sells, that’s how great of an add on Zombies was.
Some things I would add to make the Zombies experience that much better,
would be include different races within the game. So far we always have
Nazi’s. Why don’t we include more races and let the user’s select which
to play with. Another thing would be to add more types of zombies.
Right now they only have just a few.

Re: Black ops 2 expectations
Ok to be honest, I dont like the sandbox idea. I like the maps Treyarch makes. I dont want to play with the noobs/kids who makes the maps just to have a advantage over the pros and piss them off since there is a secret passage that others cant get through and such

We don't know yet that Black Ops 2 is even a thing, nor do we know if
the game is truly slated for a 2012 release. But it probably is.
The details found herein are completely rumored as nothing has been confirmed by Activision or Treyarch. None the less, the details as CVG reports them include:
Game Modes
Pointstreaks
Prestiges
ELITE 2.0
Removed
Map Design
Sniper Rifles
Customization
Hardcore
Perk System 2.0
Combat Training
What do you think? Anyone calling shenanigans on these details? Anything specific you'd like to see in Black Ops 2?

the game is truly slated for a 2012 release. But it probably is.
The details found herein are completely rumored as nothing has been confirmed by Activision or Treyarch. None the less, the details as CVG reports them include:
Game Modes
- Escort,
a new game mode similar to Search and Destroy however a live player
must be escorted to one of three areas (or two depending on the map)
without being killed. The match will have rounds, consisting of one life
only. - Drop Zone and Kill Confirmed will return
- Team Defender and Infected will not return
Pointstreaks
- Will follow from Modern Warfare 3's system
- Larger emphasis on objectives
- A bomb plant is worth 2 points
- A neutral flag is worth 1, however an enemy flag is worth 2
- flag assist capture is worth 1, a capture is worth 2
- The
Specialist Pointstreak has be modified. 2 kills now gets you 1 perk.
The 4th kill gets you 2 more perks. The 6th kill gets you 3 more perks.
The 8th Kill gets you 4 more perks. You do not get every perk when you
reach 8 kills. Perks only become "Pro" when you have them Pro - RC XD will not return
- Heat
vision is a new Pointstreak reward. When you get the required points,
you can activate this Pointstreak and your player pulls out a scope and
attaches it to your weapon. This scopes main advantage is it's ability
to detect enemies through most walls. Note, the scope can only be
attached to primaries not including shotguns - Item Packages
requires 5 points. Fall along side care packages and air drop traps.
Features a list of package items only including ammo, mini gun, grenade
launcher, rocket launcher, and body armor
Prestiges
- There will be 15 prestiges
- There will be 50 ranks
- Every two prestiges there is a 5 rank increase
- The final prestige has 90 levels
ELITE 2.0
- ELITE is being fully incorporated into Black Ops 2
- Combat record has been modified and re-named as ELITE Stats
- There will be a specific lobby for clan matches (new way of leveling clans)
- Clan Tournaments can now be implemented
Removed

- No last stand
- No death streaks
- No flame thrower attachment
Map Design
- Map design and size will be following Black Ops not Modern Warfare 3
Sniper Rifles
- Improved sniper rifle usage.
- No aim assist for any sniper rifle.
- Less sway
Customization
- No longer just perk 1 chooses the players appearance
- Appearance is a combination of all perks and type of Pointstreak being used.
Hardcore
- Larger emphasis on hardcore than ever before
- No grenade launchers
- Only vehicle guided rocket launchers permitted
- Respawn timings decreased (for most modes)
- 1 bullet in the foot will no longer kill a person, a head or chest shot is usually required.
- A person will now bleed out if severely injured.
Perk System 2.0
- The Perk Pro system has been upgraded
- There is now 2 options a perk can advance to.
- Both require different challenges to unlock
- Once the desired Pro version is unlocked, the player can select that as their "Perk Pro".
- Once selected, the only way to choose the other option is by entering prestige mode.
- For example Perk slot 1 has the perk called Speed
- Speed - Reduces the time taken to aim down the sight. Pro I - Swaps weapons faster. Pro II - Throws equipment faster
Combat Training
- Will be returning with vast improvements.
- Difficulty is no longer based on how long the bots take to start shooting.
- Bots now have an advance AI system
- Similar to the behavior seen in the MW3 Spec Ops survival
What do you think? Anyone calling shenanigans on these details? Anything specific you'd like to see in Black Ops 2?
