Chapter 4:Welcome to Santa Barbuda


After a few days of travel,the drifter had arrived at the east gate of Santa Barbuda,it had been about 2 weeks since he left New Edmond behind,he sill thought of his father and of Rachel,but he said he wouldn't return for awhile,he re focused on what was ahead of him,Santa Barbuda.


He entered the large gate,he examined the surroundings as he walked further into the massive trading hub. After walking for a few minuets he noticed a small shop,inside hanging was what looked to be a katana,he walked to the store and said “Hey,how much for that katana?”


The vender replied “That?,I’d say 100 caps,it's pretty old.”


He pulled 100 caps out and set it on the venders stand

“Here's 100 caps.”

The vender grabbed the sword and handed it to him,after that he slid the caps into his hand,by then the drifter had already walked away.

He continued through the town until he came across what looked to be the town leader talking with a large group of security guards,the drifter walked closer and listened in on there conversation.

Mayor Daniels: “We have to be ready,our scouts report of the legion moving closer”

chief Jacobs: “I saw we prepare those howitzers we found at the military base”

Security Guard: “I agree sir”


Mayor Daniels: “I need someone to find a mercenary to work for us”

chief Jacobs: “I'll do it sir”

Mayor Daniels: “Good,go now”

As they finish speaking the drifter approaches the chief

“I heard you needed a bounty hunter”

The chief looked surprised and said

“How did you know that?”

The drifter replied

“I overheard your conversation.”

The chief sighed

“Okay let me explain..”
