2K Games announced that XCOM: Enemy Unknown is now available for Xbox LIVE Games on Demand, via its 2K Blog. The news comes shortly after word that the first piece of XCOM: Enemy Unknown DLC, 'Second Wave', is available today for free to all platforms via a title update.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown is available now on Xbox LIVE Demand for the full
price of $59.99 in the US (prices vary by region), the same price you'd
pay for it at GameStop or Best Buy or wherever you buy games. Prices in
the UK and Europe are in line with the retail RRP too (at £49.99 in the
UK), though many retailers are selling it cheaper by now.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown was originally released on October 9, 2012, and named IGN's Best Strategy Game of 2012.

It's without doubt, the funnest strategy game I have ever played, and is worth every cent of what you have to pay.
